The Cervino-Matterhorn Ski Paradise is a huge ski area in the shadow of the famous Cervino-Matterhorn pyramid, distributed to the south on the Italian side of Breuil-Cervinia and to the north on the Swiss side of Zermatt.
Thanks to the presence of the famous Cervino-Matterhorn, 355 km of slopes and 50 ski lifts including cable cars, trains, and chairlifts, it is certainly one of the largest and most complete ski areas in the Alps.
The single ski pass is valid for the whole Cervino-Matterhorn Ski Paradise area (called international ski pass), alternatively, it is possible to ski only on one of the two slopes, north from Zermatt and south from Cervinia, by purchasing the relevant national ski pass.
The highest point of the whole area reaches 3899m, an important altitude that you can easily feel on your legs, moreover the temperature in the colder months can get very low below zero. Certainly a fantastic ski area, but one that requires good training in order to fully enjoy all that it has to offer.
Tourists who do not ski can take advantage of the cable cars and funiculars, to go to altitude and admire one of the most beautiful and famous views of the Alps.
The most famous attraction is the Little Matterhorn, Klein Matterhorn in German, home of the Glacier Palace, an exhibition area created inside the glacier, with adjacent panoramic restaurant, at an altitude of 3883m.
NUMBERS: 322km of slopes, 52 lifts, from 1562m (Zermatt) to 3899m - Various itineraries for Freeriders with gradients of over 2000m.
"The excitement already hits you at the gates of Cervinia or Zermatt, before you even get on a cable car and start skiing. Here everything is immense and dominated by the imposing figure of the Matterhorn.
The lifts are of a high standard, especially the new cable car that connects Plateu Rosa to Piccolo Cervino and the organization is impeccable. The off-piste trails are demanding and often on glaciers, it is necessary to pay a lot of attention and we suggest to ride them in the company of an Alpine Guide. The structures at high altitude, restaurants, and refuges, are large and always panoramic, also suitable for walks, also for tourists who do not ski.
We remind you that Zermatt is an alpine tourist village entirely without a car and accessible only by train, which makes it even more fascinating, especially in the evening, after a day on skis. "

FREERIDE AND ELISKI ON THE CERVINIA AND ZERMATT SKI PARADISE
The Cervino-Matterhorn Ski Area, between Cervina and Zermatt, is an unmissable destination, also for off-piste skiing and ski mountaineering lovers. Freeriders can find an outlet for their impulses by descending the slopes to the north and south of the Alps in the shadow of the Matterhorn - Matterhorn and Monte Rosa.
Most freeride or off-piste routes can be reached via the ski lifts, the Klein Mattehorn just above Plateau Rosa, reaching an altitude of 3883m. It is also possible to continue and reach higher altitudes through ski mountaineering itineraries (ascent with sealskins) to the peaks that join the ski area to Monte Rosa.
The local mountain guides offer numerous off-piste and freeride itineraries, with movements by helicopter, Heliski Cervino Matterhorn, and connections with lifts, to venture safely between the valleys and the ski areas of Cervinia and Zermatt.
SAFETY AND AVALANCHE DANGER
The altitude reached by the Cervino-Matterhorn Ski Paradise, the technical difficulties of the freeride routes and the harsh environment of the high mountains, require a lot of caution, because of the danger of avalanches and in some cases, for the necessary alpine passages.
We strongly advise you to tackle these well-equipped routes, with Artva, shovel, probe, airbags, and GPS and, if necessary, with abseiling kits (rope with harness and carabiners), possibly in the company of a mountain guide.
The technical quality of the off-piste routes and the length require good experience and training in off-piste skiing. In case of emergency, contact the emergency number 112 and provide your GPS position.
We recommend that you also bring with you a front battery and a thermal sheet, very useful in case of difficulty and emergency.

A unique place between history, nature, design and the immense bulk of Mont Blanc.
Following the line of other historical spa facilities in the Alps, QC Terme has recovered and modernized the original structure of the Pré Saint Didier Spa, located a few kilometers from Courmayeur, at the base of Mont Blanc.
The Pré Saint Didier Spa is a historic complex located outside the small village of Prè Saint Didier. The thermal water flows naturally at a temperature ranging between 37°C.
The area of Pré Saint Didier was already known in Roman times and lived in splendor during the period of the Kingdom of Savoy, 1800 -1900, together with the historic hotels of Courmayeur.
"Terme Prè Saint Didier presents itself with its characteristic original structure and welcomed us on a beautiful evening, during the winter season. The atmosphere, both inside and outside, is unique and the spaces are well-kept and divided into several floors.
The garden is large and in the middle, there is a small wooden house with a sauna and window, which offers a view of the Mont Blanc mountain... a unique experience of relaxation.
We have combined a stay at the Spa with a nice ski trip along the Vallée Blanche, but those who don't practice sports must take the opportunity to take the SkyWay cable car to Punta Helbronner and enjoy the view of the Mont Blanc Group from the viewing platform at 3466m "
Fabio, Lorenzo e Paolo
The Mont Blanc summit from the Arpy viewpoint above Prè Saint Didier.
The renovation of the Prè Saint Didier Spa has preserved the original elements, making optimal use of the existing paths and the garden. New and modern installations, placed between the load-bearing walls of the building, connect the ground floor directly to the gardens. The unique sensation of strolling and relaxing between large walls, well-kept wellness rooms, and the gardens, with outdoor pools and saunas and panoramic views towards the peaks of the Mont Blanc group, make this spa complex a unique experience to try.
There are numerous baths rooms, hot and cold water walkways, whirlpools (especially outdoor pools with a view), as well as Turkish baths and saunas (including the sauna in the center of the garden). The area is mainly organized, for adults (like all the facilities of QC Terme) and the ticket includes the use of a bathrobe and a towel, slippers are compulsory (can be rented on-site). In addition to the daily entrance, afternoon and evening tickets are available.
During weekends and high season, the structure can be crowded, we recommend the visit during the week or low season, especially in autumn, to fully enjoy the colors of the valley. In combination with the Spa, we recommend the panoramic ascent to the Mont Blanc Glacier, with the modern SKY WAY cable car.

A spa complex in a luxurious building dating back to the early 20th century, Bagni Nuovi di Bormio, managed by QC Terme, offers a modern structure in an elegant setting surrounded by a large equipped garden, for lovers of relaxation.
Surrounded by conifer forest, along the road to the Stelvio Pass, the Bagni Nuovi are located north of Bormio in a quiet and panoramic area. The area in addition to the ski centers of Bormio and Livigno offers many activities and excursions in the Stelvio National Park.
The spa facility has hotel and spa services, but you can also access the spa area with daily, afternoon and evening entrances. The thermal water flows naturally at a temperature between 37 and 43°C.
"Bagni Nuovi is a cuddle in the green conifer woods, an experience to try. We had the pleasure of spending pleasant days in this thermal spa. Very well organized and characterized by unique original elements and a spectacular view over the valley of Bormio.
We love the large relaxation room, the outdoor garden with saunas and the swimming pool, especially in autumn with the red larch trees. "
Fabio, Lorenzo e Paolo
Bormio's old baths are thermal baths, which combine many original historical elements with new installations, so it is worth remembering that the original spaces of the building have been maintained, slightly sacrificing comfort, but ensuring a typical and unique atmosphere.
The spa complex is vast and the various activities are distributed on the ground floor and lower floors of the elegant Bell Epoque style building. Outside there is a large garden with walkways, outdoor saunas, pools, hot tubs surrounded by fir and larch trees with views over the valley of Bormio.
The area is mainly organized, for adults (like all the facilities of QC Terme) and the ticket includes the use of a bathrobe and a towel, slippers are compulsory (can be rented on-site). In addition to the daily entrance, afternoon and evening tickets are available.

Bagni Nuovi also offers hotel service, with Suites and Junior Suites dedicated to the stay in the upper floors of the structure and access to the spa included.

The Monterosa Ski and the Monterosa Freeride Paradise are one of the most important ski complexes in the Italian Alps, formed by three valleys straddling the region of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, on the slopes of the great massif of Monte Rosa.
There are 3 alpine villages: Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney, and Champoluc. They are united by a vast network of ski-lifts and long ski slopes, as well as countless, freeride routes, to be faced in lonely valleys, canals, and long slopes.
The single ski pass is valid for the entire Monterosa ski area. Otherwise, you can buy a ski pass for a single ski area, limited to the place where you stay (Champoluc valley, Gressoney valley, and Alagna Valsesia valley).
When you buy your ski pass you can specify if you want to ski with the single ski pass, valid for the entire Monterosa ski area, and include the access to the cable car of Punta Indren, which allows you to reach an altitude of 3275m from where you can have fun along many itineraries of ski mountaineering and off-piste.
At the ticket office are delivered 2 maps, one relating to all the lifts and the slopes of Monterosa Ski and one relating to the long off-piste routes possible in Monterosa Freeride Paradise.
NUMBERS: 132km of slopes, 20 lifts, from 1212m to 3275m - Various itineraries for Freeriders with gradients of over 2000m.
"A real circus of Freeride, powdery snow, slopes and valleys, which we have descended several times, both sleeping in Alagna and Gressoney.” The lifts are of a high standard, especially the new cable car of Alagna and the impeccable organization.
The off-piste tracks have various difficulties and in some cases even long-isolated valleys, all to be covered while having fun, but with caution, which for avalanches and orientation is never too much. For some years now, there have also been routes of ascents with sealskins, in safe areas, a much-appreciated innovation.
The area is very large and frequented by tourists from all over Europe, especially from Scandinavian countries. During peak hours, some facilities can cause a bit of a queue, especially when moving between one valley and another. Refuges and kiosks complete the offer on the slopes, but the valleys covered by car offer many other places and products to be discovered calmly, especially in the summer season.
Climbers on their way to Monte Rosa can use the gondola and cable car to Punta Indren and then walk or ski to the glacier and the peaks of the massif. Have fun! "
Lorenzo e Paolo
FREERIDE AND ELISKI ON THE MONTEROSA FREERIDE PARADISE
The Monterosa Freeride Paradise is a must-see destination for off-piste skiing and skis touring lovers. Freeriders can find an outlet for their impulses, descending entire valleys in powdery snow, with gradients of over 2000m (from Punta Indren to Alagna the gradient reaches 2060m).
Most of the freeride or off-piste itineraries can be reached by ski-lifts, in particular by the Alagna cable car, the Gressoney cable car and the final cable car of Punta Indren, which reaches an altitude of 3275m.
It is also possible to continue and reach higher altitudes through ski mountaineering itineraries (ascent with sealskins) towards the glacier of Monte Rosa. In spring, from Punta Indren, you can reach with skis and sealskins the Margherita hut and the peaks of Monte Rosa.
The local mountain guides offer numerous off-piste and freeride itineraries, with helicopter transfers, Heliski al Monterosa, and connections with lifts, to venture safely between the valleys and the areas of Monterosa Ski and the nearby Cervinia and Zermatt.
SAFETY AND AVALANCHE DANGER
The altitude reached by the Monterosa Ski area, the technical difficulties of the freeride routes and the harsh environment of the high mountains, require a lot of caution, because of the danger of avalanches and in some cases, for the necessary alpine passages.
